Well… I think a follow up to this most entertaining and informational journey into the land of frozen delights… would be to detail how in the world do you keep your weight under 900 kilos!
I am gaining lbs… just by reading the descriptions.

Holy Cow!!
What a huge cone… it dwarfs the tiny baby bird! No… not the one she is looking at but the one in front of the camera!
Wow… it must weigh 589 pounds. Oh well… like a bear we must put away a few pounds for the winter months… right around the corner!

But it looks all too yummy. Has the Lodge given you a frequent eater discount yet?

Ash! The salty pretzel and the sweet ice cream should have hit a great balance. Sad… do you think spitting it out on the sidewalk would have sent a better signal of your discontent?

Tell them their stuff is lacking! Actually… when are you going to make your own or suggest to them what is best and what they should toss in the bin?

I bet it would be less expensive if you just ordered vanilla and brought your own stuff to stir in!
Just a thought. I am hungry.

Vernors ice cream! Yum! What a blast from the past. Yes! My dad used to take us to Saunders too and the Vernor cones (kind of like Drumsticks, but better) were my favorite. My dad actually used to work at Saunders when he was in college. Crazy!

Well… number one… it was not 75 and sunny… it looked like it was at night to me!
But oh yes… I remember looking into the window of the Vernor’s bottling plant on Woodward. Yummy. But you know… the Vernor’s today does not bubble like it used to.
It used to cover your face with tiny bubbles as soon as your nose got near the volcano of goodness.
Ahhh… the good old days before “classic” Coke.
